Bark Tanned Hunting Bag
This bag is made with a heavy bark tanned deer hide and hand sewn with linen thread. The linen sash/strap was hand woven by John Hardy. The patch knife was made by Hershel House(sheath I made with veg.tan). Some forming still needs to be done to hold shape.

Lancaster Smoothbore
This "smoothrifle" has a 48" ,54 caliber, octagon to round barrel by Larry Horrigan. The left handed lock is a Chamber's large Siler. The butt plate and trigger guard are from Reeves Goering . The curly maple stock was shaped down from a plank. There is a 1/4" cast off and a 14 1/2" length of pull. Wood and metal has an aged finish. This has yet to be fired and sighted in: the front sight will most likely be lowered
Neck or bag knife
This knife is about 7" overall, with a 3 5/8" cutting edge. The blade was forged from 1084, handle is curly maple with brass pins, the sheath is vegetable tanned cow hide died dark and sewn with linen thread

Sporran
Just finished this sporran up. The main body of the bag is deer skin(thick). The flap, belt loop, and heavier front face is vegetable tanned cow hide: dyed dark. The button is caribou antler.

Sheath for the patch knife
This sheath is made with the same bark tanned leather as the last shooting bag. It is lined with a thin goat skin raw hide and sewn with linen thread. This one is made to be attached to shooting bag.

Bark Tan Hunting Bag
This bag is made with bark tanned deer skin, lined with walnut dyed pillow ticking, and hand sewn with waxed linen thread. The rings and buckle are iron. The pockets are also lined.

Pathch Knife
Now that the sub zero temperatures have passed I finally got some forge work done. This knife has a ball starter on the back of the handle, pewter bolster, brass pin(peened over), and a blade forged from an old file. The sheath still needs to be made up.
