More Knives

Both of these blades where hand forged from old files. Both have full tapered tangs, steel bolsters, and stamped makers mark. Seven 1/16" steel pins secure the handle slabs and steel bolsters.
The smaller knife with a 4 1/2" blade is 8 1/4" overall, and  has a curly maple handle. The blade is 1/8" thick in the spine.
The larger knife is 10 1/8" overall with a 6" cutting edge and a 3/16" spine. The handle is caribou antler.
Both have a well fitted vegetable tanned leather sheath sewn with waxed linen thread.

Bucks County Youth Rifle

Well, it still needs a bit off touch up but here she is. Yes, my kids are spoiled! This has a curly maple stock, 31" 36 caliber swamped Rice barrel(custom), a Davis little becky lock, all parts are handmade except barrel, lock and screws. The trigger guard is a purchased one that I had to cut apart and modify to fit. Length of pull is 11 1/4". Ramrod is hickory split from a board with a steel tapered tip. It is a light weight rifle with very nice balance! I hope they like it.

Blade is also stamped with maker's mark(CM)

Too many irons in the fire

On top of my day job I have currently been working on....a youth rifle, a Lancaster rifle, a knife, a pistol barrel, cleaning jags and tapered ramrod tips. I could probably add to that list too but it kinda makes me feel overloaded just thinking about it
