NE Fowler

This is the New England fowler I'd been waiting to build for myself for quite sometime. It has a plain maple stock, Chamber's colonial lock, Netting 54" 54 cal. smoothbore barrel (I milled the side flats), the brass butt plate and trigger guard are from TOW and where modified and engraved. The pipes are from Mold and Gun Shop. The side plate I made. My trigger and wrist inlay are from an original (-the trigger plate). Stock is scraped. I antiqued the whole thing up some. Balances and shoots great.

Southern Mountain

This is a rifle I finished up last month. It has a 50 caliber swamped Rice barrel, Chamber's late Ketland flintlock, curly maple stock, and iron mounts.

Original Underhammer

I got this underhammer in a while back for repairs. It needed a new nipple, front sight, ramrod, and some minor stock cracks looked after. It is a 34 caliber and still has nice rifling. The grey streaks at the toe of the stock appear to be some pretty old grey paint. Brass inlays with no engraving.

Georgian Pistol

I still need to burnish around the carvings on this, and I may buff the stock back some to lighten the color and add depth

Pistol in the Works

This one I'm currently working on. It is based on a 1690's Georgian. I made the butt cap from sheet brass(this still needs a lot of work smoothing it out, tightening gaps, and engraving). The Trigger, trigger plate, side plate, and belt clip I also made. Other parts are from Muzzleloader Builder's Supply. This has an 8" 62 caliber smooth barrel and Chamber's small Queen Anne lock. There is still a bunch of shaping and other work to be done. This will have an antique look and finish.

Shooting Bag

Just wrapped up another one. This is a heavy bark tanned deer skin, lined with walnut dyed pillow ticking, and hand sewn with a waxed linen thread.

Lancaster Rifle

This simple Lancaster 36 caliber rifle is stocked with maple and has iron mounts. The barrel is 13/16" x 42" long, maker is unknown as this is unmarked. The stock was scraped and finished dark. All iron has been given a slightly aged appearance. A silver Star of David wrist inlay was added and engraved.
